PIER RULES
USAGE: The Moana Beach Property Owners Association Beach and Pier is for the exclusive use of MBPOA Members and their guests and renters.
HOURS: From dawn until dusk, unless otherwise authorized by the MBPOA Board of Directors for specific holidays or special occasions.
PIER USAGE: Pier is for loading and unloading only:
- No jumping off of pier.
- No sunbathing or lounging on the MBPOA pier.
BOAT USAGE: Boats may not be docked for longer than 15 minutes. All coast guard regulations will be strictly enforced.
DOGS: Dogs must be on leash in route to boat.
SMOKING: Smoking is not allowed on the beach at any time.
AMPLIFIED MUSIC: Amplified music is not allowed on the beach and pier at any time.
WATERCRAFT STORAGE: Only MBPOA Owners may store watercraft on the beach in the designated area. All items must be clearly marked with name and Moana address and must be removed from the beach from October 31-March 1, annually.
BUOYS: Buoys are for the exclusive use of MBPOA Owners and are governed by the TRPA and California Lands Division rules that apply to such use for permitted buoy fields. Owners relatives, guests and/or renters can apply to MBPOA to use a buoy within the MBPOA mooring field during rental occupancy in accordance of all rules and regulations set forth in the MBPOA Buoy Field Amenity Use Agreement.
To help keep everyone up to date on the rules and regulations of enjoying Big Blue, the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency recently released a free app that includes interactive maps for boaters and paddlers. The free Tahoe Boating app is available from online application stores or at the TRPA’s website. www.tahoeboating.org
